Paul Bryce Chartered Physiotherapist and Partner

Paul is one of the Partners of Midlothian Physiotherapy LLP, he established the clinic with Kevin Dewar and Alistair Matson in 2008. After a career in football which culminated in playing at Senior level, he qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2000 from Queen Margaret University in Edinburgh  with a BSC (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. He is registered with the HCPC and is a member of the CSP.

Paul has a wealth of clinical experience gained by working in a wide variety of different clinical environments, both in the private and the public sector. These environments include musculoskeletal outpatients in a number of GP practices, professional sport, A&E, Occupational Health and musculoskeletal outpatients at BUPA Murrayfield.

In addition to working as a physiotherapist treating musculoskeletal disorders in outpatients. Paul has  worked both as an Extended Scope Practioner in Pain Management and in Accident & Emergency when he worked in the NHS. More recently he worked jointly with a sports medicine consultant in the consultant led sports medicine clinic whilst at BUPA Murrayfield.

His clinical interests include back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, ankle pain and the use of acupuncture. Paul’s broad experience having worked in a wide variety of different roles including A&E and pain management means that he is well placed to discuss onward referral via your GP, if he does not think that Physiotherapy is appropriate for your needs or if your treatment is not successful.

More recently Paul has worked with one of our Health Insurance partners in providing a service delivery model which ensures the fastest possible access to the most appropriate care.

Paul lives in Midlothian with his family and although no longer playing football after a career which included playing at Senior level, he still finds time to fit in running and swimming.
